I Think I've Lost My Mind!!

I swear I need to run to paypal and purchase this Insanity pendant by ArchipelagoArts right this very minute!!

Picture this:

Phone rings at 6:15 PM. It's a phone call from the organizer of this craft show that I had originally wanted to do here on Fort Bragg, but they moved it and such, and then I changed my mind. Well then I kind of changed it again, only it was too late! But I got put on the waiting list. Either way, the gal calls me today. At 6:30 PM. She offers me a booth. I check with my mom to see if she can come up and watch the kids for 3 days (*sigh*) and she says yes, and I call the gal back and agree to do the show. It starts next Friday. Have I mentioned that I haven't made a THING since last week??

Yeah, I have no idea what I was thinking, but I am doing one more show this season. Here I go....sleepless nights for the next week and I just spent a cool C note getting new items for a new "Christmas like" display. :)

Holly Days Fair 2008

So by now I'm sure you're wondering where I've been?? My shop hasn't been updated with any new products, I haven't been chatting, could I be MIA? This is a picture of our booth from the 2008 Holly Day's fair. TumpusCreations and AuntieDis partnered up to exhibit at this four day show. Day 1 was yesterday. We've been concentrating, dare I say "obsessing over", this show for the last 4 weeks non stop. We had a blast, I think we managed to pull off a 'holiday theme' even with a blue canopy, and I got to meet another fabulous Etsyian, ITINKER4U!! The best part is that we're right next to the wine tasting booth from Duplin Winery, so if it's slow, or crazy busy and we need some fortitude that we can't find within, we can just grab a wine shot. I'm thinking of just setting up a wine bong, but I have to run that by the folks first and see if they'd be available to pour wine into my funnel on a regular basis.

As I type this, I'm half dressed and ready to go for round 2. Happy Friday everyone!
