Theme Thursday ~How Does Your Garden Grow~

Chimney Rock State Park, North Carolina

It's that time of year again, when I toil in the yard, planting seeds, tilling dirt...only to find, they never grow. Hopefully y'all have more of a green thumb than me!

This week, Theme Thursday is

"How Does Your Garden Grow"

Create something that is garden worthy, incorporating that theme, using whatever medium you choose; paint, clay, paper, wax, beads, whatever. When you're done, list that item in your online shop (wherever it may be) and send me a link! Next Wednesday, April 7th, I will showcase all of the entries here on my blog. Don't cheat, create something you don't already have in your shop...something you've never made before! Let's get those creative juices flowing, and have some fun! I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with!!

Goodbye Winter, Hello Spring!!!

Male Cardinal by Country Windows $12.00

As I sit here in my basement work room, hoping that a little radiant heat from the dryer will warm me, I can hear the gardeners cutting the grass for the first time of the year above me. Despite enjoying a rare snowfall of major accumulation this winter (at least for North Carolina!), that means spring is just around the corner. I'm ready for the warmer weather! I can't wait to take my flip flops out of the closet and put up my UGGs until next year! I'm not sure what I'm going to do first this spring, go for a long drive to the beach, or just relax with my feet in the grass. What's your spring fever plan!?

While I was perusing Etsy this morning, I ventured into my Etsy friend Steve's shop. His photographs always make me feel like I'm right there in the picture. The two I've chosen to showcase for you today are my absolute favorites, and they definitely make me remember how I am longing to feel the warmth of sun warmed grass between my toes.

Stop by Steve's shop and check out his gorgeous photography.
