Mama Poochins says today is gonna be a lazy Sunday. Despite that fact, I have managed to create some new paper products, in between eating Hershey's eggs that I got on clearance, and surfing the net. It's hot out, about 80 degrees here, and I don't wanna go outside for sure. However, I am inclined to curl up on the floor and sunbathe with Mama Poochins, however I think I may use a more comfortable pillow!

Please Don't Forget!
Please don't forget about our soldiers overseas this holiday season! Send them a card through Let's Say Thanks. You type out what you want to say, and Xerox will print it out and mail it to them for free. Better yet, you don't even have to leave your computer, or wait in line at the post office!!

Car Troubles

If there's one thing I hate, it's car trouble. Today we're spending the day taking my baby, Blue Betty to see why her service engine light is on. It's under warranty, why shouldn't we? Anyway, in the mean time, I once again hopped on etsy and found some fabulous car themed stuff for you to ogle at. Like this Speedometer print by MarlenaWagner. Wouldn't it look fabulous hanging in a den or an office? Anywhere really!

I sure wish I had this little brooch to wear on my shirt today. Check out feelfuzzy's shop for a wide variety of brooches made from vintage jigsaw puzzle pieces, in all kinds of themes. I bet they're like potato chips, you can't have just one!!!

I LOVE this recycled license plate buckle by randitan. Have I mentioned I love it yet? Not only do they sell the buckles, but you can get the awesome distressed looking leather belt there also!

And last, but certainly not least, there's this sad little chocolate chip cookie key chain, by bittersweeets. Don't like cookies? How about an eggplant or an avocado? Check out the shop for a wide variety of angry foods.
I sure wish I had one of these so I could hand over my key to my baby on it and show just how sad I was about it. Maybe they would move me to the top of the fix it list? ;)
Hope you all have a great Tuesday!

Rockin' Out

He's all about picking out his own picks, he's managed to acquire several from my hubby's stash. He really likes this sterling silver Les Paul Guitar Pick from AndrosCreations. Not only does he like it, but they offer personalized engraving. I'm not sure what he'd actually put on it, but that's another story for another day!

For all the "girly rock stars" out there, check out this resin Flying V guitar necklace from cherriesrockmysocks. In fact, I personally think you should just check out that whole shop. Kid tested and mother approved! I love her resin!
And last but not least, what better way to wish your aspiring rock star, or even an accomplished one a Happy Birthday than with this hand crafted birthday card from yours truly? It's in auntiescardshop.
Well, I'm going to try to tear him away from his guitar long enough to actually eat dinner and possibly go to a movie. Have a great weekend everyone!

Upcycling
I now belong to the Upcycle club......
I never buy "just a few" of anything. There's no such thing as "try me" with me. I go all the way. Hence was the case where I purchased 5,000 double sided (one for each shop) business cards from Overnight Prints after hearing how wonderful they were. *Cough* The cards came and they were horrible. Off center, some were not colored, and about 1/8 of the cards weren't even mine! Someone was asleep in quality control the night my cards were printed. To make a long story short, I complained, and after jumping through several hoops, I got another set of cards. That makes 10,000. Shortly after this fiasco, I went through a midlife crisis of sorts and decided to rebrand my Auntie Di's shop. Something a little more "me". Ok, no biggie, I could still use them. I didn't want to, but I could. Then I decided I can't hang with the big dogs and have three shops any more, one had to go. So I sold the soap shop. Now I had a double sided card that was no good to me any more. So I ordered new ones with my new logo. They came and were fabulous! But, this left me with 10 boxes of business cards I couldn't use laying around. What to do with them? I shuffled them here and there, I organized my craft room and pushed them around some more. I took them down and pondered throwing them out. What to do with these darn things? I hate to waste the money I spent on them by just chucking them. Finally, while I was fondling my paper the other day, an idea came to me!!! GIFT TAGS!!! So I played around and here's what I came up with. I've got several sets listed in my paper shop. I made a few more sets this evening, so they'll be ready to go tomorrow. Not a bad ending for these babies I don't think!
