Well, it's a few days late, but Happy 4th of July!!! Anything exciting happen for you on the 4th?? We drove to Cherokee, NC so that we could attend a Pow Wow, and see some of the BEST fireworks ever. The Indians were fabulous, the dancing and drumming was wonderful, and the costumes were out of this world. I was more partial to the traditional costumes like the three in the picture above, but they had some really fancy costumes also like these:
I couldn't understand much of what was going on, I wish they gave a little bit more of an explanation for those of us that had no clue, but it was still very interesting and fun to watch.
