Since they worked second shift at an insurance call center they could bring in something to occupy the down time between calls. Eventually she wanted to learn more, and by the glory that is the internet, she stumbled upon a group who made their own yarns. So the spinning bug bit. She started spinning in 2004 and since then, she has learned many new things. She now considers herself a crocheter, spinner, dyer, knitter and occasionally a felter.
