So we're 5 days into May, and I just now said to myself, "OMFG, you ARE a DORK! You never changed your scent of the month! What will people think now??? Not to mention you've been neglecting your blog again!!!" So the only excuse that I have is...well...I must have been incapacitated...we'll say by alcohol...so....um...that brings me to my point...it's CINCO DE MAYO today!!! Paaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrtayyyyyyyyyyy! What better way to celebrate then Lime and Tequila? I can't think of one, so there you have it! And that, is how I randomly choose my scents of the month.

Japanese Cherry Blossom ~ April Scent of the Month

Spring is in the air, and so is the pollen! Despite my coughing and sneezing and sinus headache that would fell a horse, I have chosen Japanese Cherry Blossom as the April scent of the month. It's not an overpowering floral, it's very delicate and quite lovely. (...and I don't even like florals!) You can purchase the 16 Ounce or the 8 Ounce in my Etsy shop at the Scent of the Month price! And you all should be proud of me, because I remembered to change the scent of the month on the first day of the month! LOL

It's so hard to believe it's November already! Where did the year go? It's almost time for Christmas! This month, for the scent of the month, we have Pumpkin Souffle, a wonderful combination of warm pumpkin, carmelized sugar, and warm spices like nutmeg, cinnamon and ginger. I bet you thought I forgot didn't you? Well.....ok, you're right....I did. I totally forgot that today was the first day of September, and that I needed to choose a new scent of the month for my shop. Normally I have these things all ready to go, but with the kid's starting school and all, I have been a little nuts...oh hush your mouth, I mean a little *more* nuts than usual.

The leaves may turn soon, and the weather may cool off (hopefully). I didn't feel like it was the right time for a really heavy fall scent (maybe next month), so I chose Vanilla Cedarwood. This is the perfect scent for men and women alike, not too heavy, but definitely a 'longing for fall' undertone. Scent of the Month

So after much contemplation, I've decided to implement a "Scent of the Month" starting in July. Each month, a different scent will be 20% off for the whole month. I was going to plan out a whole calendar with a scent for each month, but then I thought "Well, if it's a surprise every month, people will have to come back on the 1st to see what the new scent is!" So here I go....
