~Birthday Cupcakes~ New Candle Scent

Birthday Cupcakes 8 Ounce Soy Wax Candle $8.00

I love food scented candles. Cookies, cakes, pies, ice cream, whatever, so it's always a pleasure to test a new one. This one, just so happened to be so out of this world, that I wanted to take a spoon and eat it directly out of the jar. It smells just like sweet birthday cupcakes, piled high with frothy icing and of course, don't forget the sprinkles! Not only is it available in the 8 ounce size, but you can get it in the 16 ounce size also!

Wouldn't this make a perfect gift for someone on their birthday? And, lucky enough, I include gift cards if requested! :)

If you haven't been to my Etsy shop in a while, come take a peek! I have a few new scents, you're sure to find something you like!

Happy Birthday Marissa!

Yesterday was my daughter's 9th birthday! I keep saying that some day I am going to take one of those cake decorating classes at the local craft store, but up until this point, I haven't. However, it was my first attempt at a round cake. LOL I don't think it came out too bad! She got lots of loot and she's happy as a clam! We didn't have a huge party or anything, the neighbors came over and all the kids (all 6 of them) had a cupcake decorating binge. They had lots of fun, and they didn't even mind that we used leftover Halloween sprinkles! Hey, it kept them busy and out of my hair for 10 whole minutes! :)

Let the Valentine Festivities Begin

I'll admit, I'm a horrible mother with a devious plan. This morning, before my kids went off to school, I started them on a sugar induced coma of my own. I purchased Krispy Kreme Valentine donuts last night. I gave them each TWO. I'll be darned if those teachers are going to hop them up on Valentine's sugar and send them on home for me to deal with. Nope! In MY household, those teachers are going to have to deal with it too! Hey, and there's a method to my madness! I figure that by the time my kids get home, they'll be ready for that sugar coma crash, and it will be nice and quiet! They'll definitely be ready for bed tonight!
