Why Hello Stranger!

It's been so long since I've posted! We...ok ok, *I*...there was no "we" involved.... rescued a new puppy from some mean people at Walmart. That was almost 3 months ago. Isn't he adorable? He's sporting his Holy Cow collar by the fabulous Jennie B. Goode. His name is Pirate. (We already have Mama Poochins, whose name is Pearl a.k.a. The Black Pearl, so it was only fitting that we have a piratey name for this little guy!)

It's getting to be that time of year that I love...fall and Halloween! Now if only the weather would follow suit! There's lots of new things in my shops, because you know how much of a Halloween fanatic I am! Be sure to stop by and say "hey", I've missed you all!

Merry Christmas!!

I hope everyone had an enjoyable Christmas, and is looking forward to the New Year with excitement!

I seem to have a lot of dog related posts lately, but I could not resist one more! This is my niece's new Shih Poo puppy. He doesn't have a name yet, but he looks like a Niblet to me. Mr. Nibs for short. She got him for Christmas. Recently they had to put their Greyhound to sleep because he had cancer. Anyway, Niblet is 7 weeks old here. As you can see, he can't see over the bottom door jamb! LOL It's only about 2" high. He's about the size of a beanie baby, and oh so cute! All fur!

If you notice the size of the camera in the picture below, you'll see he's the same size!

It was a fun day had by all!

Bean Obama, First Rescue Dog in the White House??

Meet Bean. How can you resist this cuteness? Bean is a rescue puppy who currently resides with the most wonderfully kind hearted Bernie Berlin at A Place to Bark. Bean meets all the criteria for becoming the First Dog. Bean Obama, it has a nice ring to it, doesn't it? You can read all about Bean's story HERE. Better yet, repost this and send it to everyone you know, and let's help elect Bean to become the first rescued puppy in the White House!

Having a rescued dog of my own, this is a cause that is near and dear to my heart. Please help!
